Job Description
Key Responsibilities
The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing the development and delivery of SEP training programs, and maintaining high safety standards across training locations. Key tasks include:
Regulatory Compliance & Coordination: Collaborate with DGCA and other authorities for approvals and compliance. Liaise with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), training partners, and industry associations to stay updated on safety standards.
Curriculum Development: Design, review, and update SEP training programs, manuals, and communication tools such as the Cabin Crew Training Manual and QRH. Ensure timely revisions and regulatory approvals.
Training Delivery & Leadership: Supervise training delivery to ensure adherence to standards, conduct assessments, and mentor SEP instructors. Manage staffing and resource allocation, and lead a team of instructors.
Safety & Quality Assurance: Conduct safety audits on training facilities, implement robust safety processes, and develop new modules reflecting industry trends. Maintain comprehensive training records.
Damp Lease Management: Verify partner training compliance with DGCA and international standards. Oversee SOP harmonization, conduct spot checks, and address safety incidents collaboratively.
Strategic Collaboration & Reporting: Represent the department in cross-functional meetings, align strategies with internal teams, and provide regular reports on training activities and improvement plans.
Eligibility Criteria
At least 4 years of experience managing a team of instructors or cabin safety personnel.
In-depth expertise in cabin safety, including policy and procedure development.
Strong leadership, communication, and liaison skills for effective collaboration with regulatory authorities and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years as an SEP Instructor or equivalent experience in cabin safety management.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (mandatory); postgraduate degree preferred.
Knowledge of DGCA regulations, SOPs, safety management systems, and training development processes.

Flexibility to manage tasks across time zones and adapt to changing requirements.
Work Environment & Conditions
Travel to training locations may be required.
