Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Lead Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to support our organization's data needs. As a Senior Lead Data Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data reliability, efficiency, and accessibility. Candidate is expected to have 10-16 years of experience in ETL/ELT, Architecture, Data-warehousing, BI domain. If you have a passion for data, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a strong background in engineering, this role is perfect for you.
Skill Set Required:
1. Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer/Solution Architect or similar role, with a strong understanding of Pipeline Design ,data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts.
2. Hands-on modeling, design, configuration, installation, performance tuning experience.
3. Experience working with cloud platforms such as Snowflake , Azure Data Factory, ADLS and any other ETL toos/ databases.
4. Understanding of ETL/ELT, Datawarehouse, Data lake designs.
5. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL, with experience in building and optimizing complex SQL queries. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize data processes for performance and scalability.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
8. Certifications in relevant technologies (Snowflake,Azure ) are desirable but not required.
9.Work proactively and independently to address project requirements and articulate issues/challenges to reduce project delivery risks.
