Senior Manager, Business Analysis
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Business Analysis will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decision-making and operational excellence for Growth and Marketplaces team by providing insightful business and financial analysis and business support. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of business operations.
Technical Skills:
• Data Analysis and Visualization: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to extract insights from large datasets.
• Financial Modeling: Strong understanding of financial modeling techniques and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software) to build financial models and forecasts.
• Project Management: Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Statistical Analysis: Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• PowerPoint proficiency: Ability to create clear, concise, and visually appealing presentations.
• Effective storytelling: The ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and engaging manner.

• Strong Communication Skills: Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Leadership and Teamwork: Ability to lead and inspire teams, foster collaboration, and build strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
• Planning & Analysis:
o Collaborate with the Growth lead to create Annual Operating Plans (AOPs).
o Lead budgeting/ forecasting/ long term planning/ target setting activity for departments.
o Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and proactively alert stakeholders regarding performance gaps or potential risks.
o Provide regular updates on the run rate and performance against targets.
o Create business/ financial projections for growth levers, planned initiatives, marketplace initiatives, and additional projects like e-wallets and gift vouchers.
o Build, maintain and track all new marketplace LOBs p/ls and forecasts.
• Business Analysis & Insights:
o Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
o Develop and implement data-driven insights to inform strategic decision-making.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable insights.
Who can apply?
Someone who has worked in financial modeling, business planning and P&L management for the vertical. Should have owned the category from target setting, projections and forecasting perspective and pushed the team to fill the gaps and take proactive actions on timely basis.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of business operations, planning, budgeting, and forecasting (along with P&L management). They should be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering results. Additionally, experience in the aviation industry, particularly in digital products and marketplaces, would be advantageous.
