Senior Manager – Direct Sales  

IndiGo is seeking a highly dynamic and self-motivated individual to contribute to the Sales and Partnership Function. The individual will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with key OTA partners globally and exploring innovative ways to increase the airline's footprint. This role will involve strategic sales planning, partnership development, contract negotiation, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute the global sales strategy for OTA partnerships, aligning with overall business objectives. Identify new sales opportunities and create a sustainable pipeline.
•    Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers at leading Global OTAs, ensuring alignment and maximization of business potential.
•    Business Development: Identify and onboard new OTA partners globally, expanding the company’s reach and presence in new markets.
•    Sales Performance and Targets: Set and meet sales targets by managing the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Monitor and analyze sales performance to optimize strategy and achieve revenue growth.
•    Market Insights: Stay ahead of trends in the OTA industry, monitoring competitor activities and market developments to identify new opportunities.
•    Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including marketing, product, operations, and customer success to ensure smooth implementation of sales agreements and to optimize partner performance.
•    Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and successful execution of agreements. Manage ongoing contract renewals and amendments.
•    Analytics & Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior management, highlighting key opportunities and risks..

Desired Candidate Profile

•    Education Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate
•    Experience: 8-10 years
Skills and Experience:
    Minimum 8-10 years of experience in sales or business development, with a proven track record
    Strong background in managing and growing relationships. Demonstrated ability to close deals and exceed sales targets in a highly competitive environment.
    Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders and close large deals.
    Strong proficiency in data analysis, with the ability to leverage insights to drive sales strategy and performance.
    Experience managing international accounts and working across multiple geographies and cultures. Ability to navigate complex global markets and diverse customer needs.
