Sr Manager -Distribution IndiGo is looking for a highly dynamic and self-motivated individual to manage the GDS Distribution function. This role will be responsible for overseeing the airline's current GDS distribution channels and continuously adding new ones to enhance the airline’s distribution across various geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage GDS distribution channels for IndiGo.

· Maintain existing GDS relationships and drive future expansions.

· Strengthen and expand the global distribution network by partnering with global GDAs, OTAs, and content aggregators, while strictly controlling distribution costs.

· Collaborate with key partners in India and overseas on revenue initiatives such as fare upsell, ancillary services, special category fares, and various promotional and tactical campaigns.

· Develop the product and feature roadmap for all GDS distribution channels, working with leadership to define priorities based on cost-benefit analysis and ROI.

· Stay updated on industry innovations and trends, working with internal stakeholders to implement such methods across all channels to complement distribution.

· Lead cross-functional teams on projects to ensure seamless distribution and sale of IndiGo fares and ancillaries across all channels.

· Analyze data on product and channel mix to devise strategies that optimize the desired product and channel mix.

· Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to optimize revenue across all channels and points of sale.

· Manage team resources and ensure optimal output.

· Work on implementing payment methods like BSP/ARC across various channels.

· Partner with GDS providers to identify opportunities and develop integration plans.

Desired Candidate Profile:

· Educational Qualification: Graduate/Post Graduate.

· Industry Preference: Airlines, OTA, GDS.

· Years of Experience: 10-14 years.

· Nature of Experience: Prior experience in Airlines/GDS.

· Required Skills:

o Strong understanding of the GDS business from an airline's perspective.

o Experience in GDS implementation for airlines.

o Technology-driven, with an understanding of the latest distribution and payment trends.

o Highly data-driven with the ability to analyze and utilize data effectively.

o End-to-end product lifecycle management experience.

o Excellent communication and project management skills.
