Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Curriculum Design & Management
o Develop, review, and update SEP training programs, manuals, and materials (e.g., Cabin Crew Training Manual, QRH, SEP Manual) to reflect the latest regulations and operational procedures
o Oversee the creation and distribution of circulars, fliers, and other communication tools for safety updates
2. Training Delivery & Oversight
o Supports the processing and consolidation of all training records and reports, maintains all comprehensive, written and oral exams to ensure they are current
o Plan SEP instructors to conduct the required number of quarterly Flight Surveillance Checks. Supervise the delivery of SEP training programs across multiple locations to ensure consistency and high standards
3. Strategic Management & Leadership
o Assumes responsibility of documenting incidences that occur on board the aircraft that may be a training event or training issue during Aircraft trainings
o To ensure that the SEP team maintains highest standards of quality and develops modules regularly to keep pace with the industry standards
4. Safety & Quality Assurance
o Design, content, and communication of all Cabin Crew Training Programs, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
o Shall be responsible for administration of SEP Manual and Cabin Crew Training Manual/QRH Manual
o Co-ordinate with the scheduling department of Cabin Crew to determine and plan the training needs and ensure Instructors are rostered for all trainings
5. Documentation & Reporting
o Act as custodian for all cabin crew manuals and ensure timely revisions and distribution
o Coordinate and provide regular reports on training activities, compliance status, and improvement plans to senior management and regulatory bodies
o Maintain thorough documentation and records for all training sessions, instructor qualifications, and regulatory approvals
Eligibility Criteria
o Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of both administrative and operational responsibilities inherent in the role
o Exhibits strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage diverse teams across multiple training locations
o Holds proven experience in managing a team of certified instructors, ensuring adherence to high training standards
o Displays in-depth expertise in cabin safety, including the formulation and implementation of relevant policies and procedures
Qualifications
1. Experience
o SEP Instructor position for a minimum of 5 years on the relevant aircraft type
o International cabin crew experience
o Operational and/or training experience on widebody aircraft
2. Technical Skills
o Familiarity with applicable regulations and understanding of airline Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
o LMS: Responsible to periodically develop and review Cabin Crew examination question papers and Question Bank and maintain a record of the same
3. Educational Background
o Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field (Aviation, Education, Management, etc.) is mandatory
